SEMI-CUSTOM GUIDE

Each semi-custom design offers lots of flexibility when it comes to personalizing! Not only do you get to choose the calligraphy script for your names and headers, you can choose the paper type, ink and envelope colors etc. This can very much still fit within your wedding color palette and overall look.

Once you have booked with me, I will send you a questionnaire to gather your wedding information, colors etc. I like to curate suggested ink and envelope colors based on your wedding color palette. From these initial suggestions, it’ll be like a springboard where we can narrow down the final colors for your invitations.

There is always the option to include embellishments to your suite, such as silk ribbons, wax seals, vellum wrap etc. These items can be discussed during the design phase if this sparks your interest.

Calligraphy

These are the six calligraphy styles that I offer. I pride myself offering both true traditional and modern calligraphy for versatility.

  1. Copperplate - traditional and elegant

  2. Flourished Copperplate- takes the original Copperplate with elegant flourishes added on

  3. Modern - has a free and flowing style

  4. Modern Elegance - modern yet elegant with oval flourishes

  5. Spencerian - part of the Golden Age of Ornamental Penmanship from 1850 - 1925. Penmanship was at the height for artistic writing.

  6. Italian Hand - delicate and whimsical script, also affectionately known as “the blob top”
