italy elopement in positano, misoo & charles

Misoo and Charles eloped in the picturesque Positano, Italy and would later hold a wedding reception in the Banff Springs Hotel the following year. With our mutual love of vintage stamps, we agreed a watercolor painting of the ceremony grounds overlooking the seaside would be a wonderful way to remember the moment. Positano is also well known for lemons, so we had a lemon motif for the envelope liner.

Their ceremony was a hand-tying style and the raw edge silk ribbon was calligraphed with one of their favorite quotes.
