french church styled shoot
This fine-art styled shoot was planned to incorporate Old World elegance from Europe with a color palette of peaches, soft pinks and ivory.
The suite focused on the romantic modern calligraphy script on handmade paper with deckle edges. To elevate the calligraphy art, a venue sketch and wedding vows were incorporated. While daydreaming about a future vacation in France and seeing the chateaus and countryside, it was easy to settle on a chateau that’s on my bucket list, Chateau du Plessis- Bouree.
Other items of interest on the tablescape were the fabric menus and place cards with recycled silk chiffon ribbons. All of these items were kept in mind to maintain a soft and romantic esthetic.
Some other inspirational notes from our stylist Ania, as discussed in Whimsically Wed.
“Ania, the stylist who had just come back from a trip to Prague a few days prior, came home and got straight to work, hand selecting each table element right down to the blue goblets! Which were the perfect pop of colour complimenting those gorgeous orange poppy's in the centrepieces from Fall for Florals. Lindsey designed and added soft tones in her arrangements, which highlighted spring perfectly! They brought out texture in the hand written menus and name tags and Chloe fell in love with the hand drawn French Chateau form Debbie Wong Design. The model Cianna looked stunning in Savin London's Olya gown provided by Blush and Raven and while focusing on Cianna's natural beauty, Monika from Glam and Beyond kept makeup minimal and light. They finished off Cianna's look with a delicate half up/half down twist knot by Kirsten from M.Co Hairstyling.”
