Calgary Calligrapher Color Pop Watercolor Shoot
Here’s part two of the stylized wedding shoots at the modern Alloy restaurant. This was a super fun theme to partake in because it’s so colorful and have such a pop of color!
The primary colors used were a vibrant purple, periwinkle blue, yellow, orange and hot pink colors. Since so much colors were used, I decided a pure black ink color would be the best to make the words readable. There is nothing worse than having gorgeous stationery but the words are ineligible! I chose to use traditional calligraphy script because there was so much going on with colors, that a traditional script like Copperplate, would emphasize the traditional versus modern look.
All the other creatives at the stylized shoot contributed bright florals, delicious macarons, cakes, bons bons, clothing, jewelry, table ware and linen to pull the cohesive look together. It was so hard to not wolf down the desserts just sitting there in front of me!
Here are more photos of all the different vendors and their amazing talent!
